Mariah Carey feels lucky after spending time with her ailing father

Singer Mariah Carey is grateful that she reconnected with her father before his death. Mariah’s parents got separated when she was just a kid and she grew up with her mom. Mariah says she knows very little about her African-American father.

She had a curiosity to know about her father and luckily, she tracked him. She got to know so many things about her father, she revealed it lately that he wrote him a very emotional letter. Her father said, it doesn’t matter what so ever happens, she has always been a star for him, even before anybody knew her.

Mariah feels lucky after spending quality time with her father but unfortunately he got sick and she lost him soon after.
