Pop princess Britney Spears looked more her stunning self when she attended a charity bash hosted by actor Jim Carrey and his girlfriend Jenny McCarthy.Six months back the Toxic singer’s condition was so bad that nobody expected her to recover from it, but the singer has proved everyone wrong by getting back on her feet. She had reached a position in which she had to be hospitalised, as she had become a drug-crazed wreck, dogged by controversy.But Britney’s most recent pictures show that she’s finally put her past behind and is on the road to recovery. The Los Angeles bash came just days after her amicable custody agreement with ex-husband Kevin Federline, which gives her more access to sons Sean Preston and Jayden James.Most, especially Britney’s family members believe that her father Jamie is the one who has kept her alive. “He has been her saviour. It was a horrible period and she was on the brink of disaster but she looks wonderful now. You can see the happiness in her eyes,” the Sun quoted one as saying.
Jamie put an end to Britney’s all-night benders on Red Bull and amphetamine-based prescription drug Adderall, the erratic drives around LA and the late-night shopping sprees. For Britney getting rid of her demons is a big issue and she has been doing it by dancing. She is a regular visitor at Hollywood’s Millennium Dance Complex and has been teaching kids.
“Britney is using dance as part of her therapeutic efforts to come back,” owner Robert Baker said. “We are all excited and happy that she’s getting her life back,” he added.
