A book based on the movie Sex and the City is out and the lead actress Sarah Jessica Parker claims it will surprise fans as it features characters and plot lines that were edited from the film.She said the companion book to the film was completed while writer-director Michael Patrick King was still editing the movie and he cut out items and people that will appear in the published book.
Parker said: “I’ll tell you a secret, there’s this book that we did with all the scenes in it. It went to print and Michael was still in the editing room chopping away. The book tells a different story than the movie. There are characters in there and scenes in there that didn’t make the movie. It’s really cool, a real collector’s item, I guess.”
