Ashlee Simpson, Pete Wentz signs pre-nup

Ashlee Simpson and fiance Pete Wentz have made sure that their assets are protected just in case their marriage does not work out by signing a pre-nuptial agreement.

The couple recently tied the knot, and are rumoured to be expecting their first child together. Wentz told Ryan Seacrest's KIIS-FM radio show that he and Ashlee had indeed signed a pre-nup, reports the New York Daily News.

However, Wentz refused to confirm whether or not the couple is expecting a bay. "This baby has not been confirmed," he said. "The only thing I'm confirming now is that we're in the basement on our honeymoon with these blow-up palm trees," he said.
